Kristin Kreuder, Esq. Senior Loan Officer is a Member of the law firm Outside GC, LLC, which provides on demand general counsel services to companies at all levels of maturation across a variety of industries. Previously, Kristin served as Of Counsel at the law firm of Vandenberg & Feliu, LLP as a member of the Firm's Corporate Department. Her practice focused primarily on general corporate matters and commercial transactions, including banking & finance transactions and mergers & acquisitions, and also corporate governance, securities law, risk management and debt restructuring. Prior to joining Vandenberg & Feliu, Kristin spent the previous nine years working in-house for both public and private corporations. She most recently served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Trans-Lux Corporation, where she was responsible for all legal matters for an international manufacturing company in the LED arena. At Trans-Lux, Kristin negotiated a range of commercial agreements, handled the legal aspects of strategic initiatives and worked side by side with the CEO and board of directors, serving as a close advisor on strategic and operational matters. Prior to Trans-Lux, Kristin served as the sole in-house counsel for MXenergy Inc., where she also managed the legal, regulatory compliance and quality assurance departments of this large energy retail marketing company. Kristin began her eighteen year legal career as an associate with the NYC law firms of Shearman & Sterling LLP and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where her business law practice concentrated on a wide variety of commercial transactional matters in a variety of industries, as well as the representation of U.S. and foreign banks, other institutional lenders and venture capital funds.
Kristin's educational background includes a B.A., with honors, from Boston College and a J.D., with distinction, from Hofstra University School of Law. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State and Connecticut State Bar Associations and the Association of Corporate Counsel. Kristin is a member of the New York bar and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, 2003.
